Orchard Lodge CL
Orchard Lodge, site 550 in the handbook, is an adult only part hardstanding, part grass 5 caravan and motorhome CL site. Each pitch has access to a 16 amp electric hook up and fresh water tap.
Access to the site is from the road, through a farm gate, over a tarmac and gravel drive then onto the pitch area. There is plenty of space between each pitch with more than enough for an awning. The grass is mown and collected, not mulched, and in total extends to half of an acre in size. There are trees and hedges around the site and as the site is set back from the road provides a little more privacy than Orchard Meadow. Sheep graze the paddocks behind the site so dogs are not allowed on either of our sites.
Chemical disposal, refuse disposal and recycling bins are provided and there is an information hut crammed with local information. In season you may even find garden produce in the hut.
Pitches 1,2, 4 and 5 are hardstanding and are at least 8 metres long. Pitch 3 is grass and will accommodate much longer homes. Pease note you may be allocated to Pitch 3, grass, as this may be the only pitch available
The site is open 8 months each year and with the hard standings even in very wet months
